Jen Hutter

Director

Jen spent the first 20 years of her career as an investment banker and entrepreneur advising real estate private equity companies on capital structures, institutional fundraising, and investor relations. After selling her business in 2019, Jen immersed herself in her passion as a mental health and wellness advocate. Today, she bridges her expertise with her passion and advises real estate and health and wellness companies to grow efficiently, while maximizing their impact. Most recently, she served on the Advisory Board of BetterSpaces, a wellness company focused on enhancing workplace wellbeing through physical and virtual spaces.

In 2021, she founded and currently serves as the Executive Director of the Healthy Humans Foundation (formerly The Center Foundation), a nonprofit focused on helping humans eat, breathe, and move better. In 2009, Jen founded and led KAP Group (which she sold in April 2019 to the CenterCap Group), a consulting business that provides capital raising and investor relations advisory services to real estate private equity managers. During her tenure at KAP Group, Jen advised over 70 real estate managers in the U.S. and Asia. Prior to founding KAP, Jen was a Vice President in the Real Estate Private Fund Group at Credit Suisse, responsible for raising capital from institutional investors for private real estate managers globally. Before her distribution role, Jen advised and prepared real estate managers through each stage of the capital raising process, including real estate private fund and joint venture opportunities in the U.S., Europe, Latin America, and Asia representing over $5 billion in equity raised. Prior to that, Jen was a founding member of DLJ Strategic Partners, a private equity fund focused on secondary limited partnership opportunities in private funds globally. Jen started her career in the Real Estate Finance and Securitization Group at Donaldson, Lufkin, and Jenrette.

Jen serves as Secretary for the Harvard Club of Northern Nevada and is on the interviewing team for Harvard College in the Reno-Tahoe area. She previously held roles as a Trustee for Sierra Nevada University, as a Nevada Board Member for Communities in Schools, a non-profit organization focused on helping underprivileged children graduate from high school, and as a Board Member for Civic Builders, a non-profit organization that provides real estate for charter schools in low-income areas around the U.S.

Jen earned a Master of Business Administration from the Harvard Business School. She graduated magna cum laude from Southern Methodist University with a Bachelor of Business Administration.
