Ivor Parkes serves as Vice President and General Manager at Sterling Realty Organization (SRO), bringing more than 30 years of commercial real estate experience to his role. Focused on leasing, operations, and tenant relations, he oversees key aspects of property performance across SRO’s portfolio, combining deep industry expertise with a hands-on, relationship-focused approach.
Ivor’s career at SRO spans more than 25 years across two tenures—first from 1986 to 1997 and again since rejoining the company in 2011. Early in his career at SRO, he worked in the accounting departments for the company’s former Theatre and Broadcast Divisions before transitioning into commercial real estate operations. Between his time at SRO, Ivor held property management positions with Allstate Insurance—overseeing assets across Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Alaska and Hawaii—as well as leadership roles with property management and financial firms JSH Properties and Pistol Creek Company.
Known for his steady leadership and collaborative style, Ivor takes pride in building long-term relationships with tenants, colleagues, and industry partners. He values the trust and connections developed throughout his career and is deeply appreciative of the teams and partnerships that have contributed to his success.
A graduate of Central Washington University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Ivor is also a licensed Real Estate Managing Broker. He lives in Bothell with his wife, Elaina, and has two sons, Curtis and Ryan. Outside of work, he enjoys playing soccer and spending time outdoors.
